Bagh-e Sangi or Stone Garden in Kerman Province is a hexagonal garden created by Darvish Khan Esfandiarpour to protest the Pahlavi era (1925-1979) Land Reforms of 1963. Darvish Khan used telegraph cables to hang stones from the trees in his garden. Darvish Khan passed away at the age of 90 in 2007 but as he was deaf and mute he was never able to explain how he created this massive garden.
