This spring is located 25 kilometers north of Shahroud among the steep valleys surrounding the 4,000-meter Shahvar peak. Because the water of this spring flows over various minerals, its water takes on seven distinct colors, appearing navy, blue, turquoise, violate, orange, red and brown in different parts. The spring has sulfuric water which is said to be good for bone and skin ailments.
