Built in 1926 by an architect from Yazd, this house is the only home in Shahroud which has a wind tower. The house has a central courtyard which leads to the front door via a narrow corridor. The Howz Khaneh (pool house), wind tower, guest rooms, balcony and Ab-Anbar (water reservoir) are located in the western part of the courtyard. Rooms used as winter quarters are located in the northern part of Yaghmaei House. Today, the house is used as the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Office of Shahroud. Yaghmaei House was registered as a National Heritage Site in 2002.
