The Paintings Museum of the Fatemeh Masoumeh Shrine includes Persian miniatures and oil paintings from the Safavid (1501-1722) and Qajar (1785–1925) eras. The paintings include depictions of the descendents of the Prophet as well as paintings of Qajar and Safavid monarchs. The museum has a collection of paintings on glass as well as painted penholders, vessels, medallions, mirrors and decorated weapons.
