The Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Museum of Qom was located in the 120-year-old Yazdan Panah House before the house underwent renovation and the museum was moved to the Zand House. The museum showcases handicrafts indigenous to Qom such as Mo’arraq woodwork, pottery, ceramics, Qalam-zani (engraving and embossing elaborate designs on copper, silver, gold or brass objects), monabbat, engraved steel daggers, engraved swords, blue beads (Khar Mohreh), traditional costumes of Qom, and clay pots with calligraphy decorations. The museum also has embroidery, pottery, mo’arraq and mo’arraq design workshops.
