The Ceramics Museum of the Fatemeh Masoumeh Shrine displays objects from the first and second millennia BC as well as items belonging to different Islamic eras. The pre-Islamic items are mostly not glazed and the majority of the glazed Islamic works are decorated with arabesque and flower motifs and some have inscriptions. These items include plates, bowls, water containers, oil lamps, and vases from Sialk Mound (Tepe Sialk) in Kashan, Rey, Nishabur and Khurvin in Qazvin.
