The Desert Anthropology Museum opened in 1995 in the Pirnia House. The museum houses the clothing, tools, metal and wooden vessels, and handicrafts as well as the customs, culture and beliefs of the inhabitants of the desert regions of Iran. The museum also has Aba weaving, carpet, kilim, blacksmithing, and pottery workshops. A traditional teahouse has also been set up in Pirnia House where visitors can sit to rest and have tea and Persian snacks.
