Dovecote in Meybod is a Qajar era (1785-1925) structure built in three stories and has thousands of pigeonholes for birds to nest. This cylindrical dovecote has brickwork and stucco decorations and has been designed to prevent snakes from entering the structure. The Meybod Dovecote has been registered as a National Heritage Site.
