Located 10 kilometers northwest of the city of Lahijan, this bridge is 50 meters long, 4.5 meters wide and 11 meters tall. The bridge dates back to the 14th century when the Kia'i dynasty (1389 to 1592) ruled Tabaristan (modern day provinces of Mazandaran, Gilan, Golestan, and the northern part of Semnan). The bridge is made of red bricks with a mortar of Sarooj (mix of lime and clay) and has two large arches. The bridge has 5 water passages and was renovated during the Qajar era (1785-1925). Lahijan Adobe Bridge was registered as a National Heritage Site in 1976.
