Khorramabad Inscription is a stone rectangular cuboid situated east of Khorramabad. The inscription dates back to the Seljuq era (1038-1118) and discusses a ban on a number of customs during the reign of Malik-Shah I (1055-1092). The inscription is both in Kufic and Persian script on all four sides of the structure and was a means to inform the public about governmental decrees. The Khorramabad Inscription was registered as National Heritage Site in 1955.
