Located 100 kilometers from Kerman city, Shahdad Kalouts (yardangs) in Lut Desert consists of a series of tall and small sand structures sculpted by the wind. These structures resemble the buildings of a city and as a result the Kalouts have been nicknamed Kalout city and the desert capital.
