The Sanaati Museum of Contemporary Arts opened in 1978 next to the National Garden of Kerman. The museum houses over 1,500 works by Iranian and international artists including Kamal-ol-molk, Ali Akbar Yassemi, Rasam Arzhangi, Sohrab Sepehri, Auguste Rodin, Emil Nolde, Ben Nicholson, Wassily Kandinsky and Tom Phillips. The building of the museum is a mud brick structure with a domed-roof. The building has a magnificent brick façade with turquoise and black mo’arraq tile decorations.
