The building of National Library of Kerman was originally built as the Khorshid Spooling and Textile Company in 1930. The building, which has eye-catching brickwork and stucco decorations, was turned into the National Library in 1993. The library houses over 121 thousand books and was registered as a National Heritage Site in 2000.
