The biggest caravanserai in Kerman, Vakil Caravanserai is located to the left of Vakil Bazaar. The construction of this two-story caravanserai was started by Kerman Governor Mohammad Esmail Khan Vakil-ol Molk in 1870 and was completed by his successor Morteza Qoli Khan Vakil-ol Molk II. The caravanserai has 81 chambers on the first floor and 39 chambers on its second floor. The façade of the caravanserai, which opens to the bazaar, has tilework and stucco decorations.
