A mixture of Islamic, Persian and Christian architecture techniques was used in building this Church.
In the structure, they have used wooden trunks so the structure would be resistant to an earth quake and the paintings inside and even the chandeliers are still the original ones :)
Despite simple exterior of the dome, one is amazed when entering the church by the beauty of the art done inside this beautiful cathedral.
It is located few steps away from the main Jolfa Square and the Armenian Guides inside are very friendly and helpful.
