The Abshineh Wetland is located 15 kilometers from Hamedan city and is located in an area of 85 hectares. This wetland is actually the lake behind the dam over Abshineh River. Coot, pelican, crane, flamingo, stilt, avocet, great egret, western marsh harrier, purple heron, grey heron, glareola and the gull-billed tern are some of the migratory birds that arrive at this wetland in the spring. This wetland is a great bird watching destination.
