Burj-e Qorban or Qorban Tower is a 10th century structure where a number of Seljukid commanders and a cleric have been interred. During the Afghan rebellion towards the end of the Safavid rule, it is reputed that a man named Qorban took cover in this tower and used this position to defend the city. In honor of his bravery, the tower was named after him.
