Located 23 kilometers north of Damghan, Cheshmeh Ali Complex is a Safavid (1501–1736) compound that became a vacation spot for Qajar (1785-1925) kings. The complex once had a bathhouse mosque but no traces of either one remain today. Cheshmeh Ali Complex has four old sycamore trees that are 27 meters tall. Two of these sycamores are between 600 to 650 years old and the other two are between 380 to 430 years old.
