This lake is located 23 kilometers from Chalous on the road to Kelardasht. One of the 10 sweet water lakes of Iran, Lake Volasht is home to migratory birds, fish and different amphibians. The lush landscape surrounding the lake, which is 1000 meters above the Caspian Sea level, has made it a popular destination.

Beautiful sweet water lake, we camped here last year and swam in the lake wich has freezing temperature and the weather here is perfect
The road from Marzan Abad to here can get a little steep but once you are up here you realize it's all worth the effort :)
