The Martian or Miniature Mountains of Chabahar are located approximately 40 to 50 kilometers from the city. The grooves on these grayish-white mountains are the result of wind and rain erosions and have created a unique site that appears to have been drawn by a skilled painter. These mountains have no vegetation and create a striking view as they are directly across from the green waters of the sea, making the drive from Chabahar to Gwadar a picturesque one. The mountains end right before the 2,500-year-old village of Tis.
