Malek Mansion was built by a merchant from Bushehr towards the end of the Qajar era (1785–1925). During a business trip to Paris, Malek-ol Tojjar fell in love with a French house there and employed its architect to build him a home in Bushehr. The house has wall paintings, a terrace with three columns and a massive ebony door with metal details. Malek Mansion was registered as a National Heritage Site in 1999.
