Located 8 kilometers from Bandar Abbas, Hormoz Island is a salt dome that was exposed when water levels went down. The island has countless natural attractions and is considered a great destination for bird watching. The Egyptian vulture, Terns and Larus are some of the birds indigenous to this island.
