St. Mary’s is a Qajar era (1785-1925) church in Bandar Anzali that was built in 1885 by one of the city’s Armenian residents. Anzali’s third church, St. Mary’s is a rectangular structure that stretches from east to west. Its external walls are coated in cement and its interior walls are covered in stucco. The church has three entrances on its north, west and south sides. The altar is located in the eastern part of the church with two sacristies on either side. The ceiling of the church sits on four pillars. The bell tower’s dome is held up by six pillars and is located above the western entrance of St. Mary’s Church.
