This bridge is a Pahlavi era (1925-1979) structure built over Babolroud (Babol River) before World War II. This 80-meter long, eight-meter wide and 16-meter high bridge was built by Swedish and German engineers in 1935. This is the first vehicle suspension bridge of the country and connects east and west Babolsar. The bridge has come to be a symbol of Babolsar.
