Shegeft Yazdan Cave, which is located 21 kilometers from Aqda Village and 70 kilometers from the city of Ardakan, is considered a sacred place for Zoroastrians. Following the Muslim attack on Iran, Zoroastrians moved the sacred fire from the Karian Fire Temple to this almost unreachable cave and protected it there for 30 years. The cave has several ponds and traces of a building.
