The oldest Mosque in Ardakan, Zirdeh Mosque dates back to the 16th century. The summer section of the mosque has double wooden doors with Naskh inscriptions and its Mihrab (prayer niche) has intricate tilework. The mosque was registered as a National Heritage Site in 1979.
