Shorabil is a 120-hectare salt water lake located south of the city of Ardabil. The lake has recreational and sports facilities such as a track and field arena, a cycling range, boating facilities and a playground for kids. There are several hotels and restaurants built around the lake where visitors can spend the night and dine.
