Khakbaz Mansion is a late Qajar era (1785–1925) home designed by a Russian architect and built by an Iranian architect over four years in an area of 3,000 square meters. The house has a small garden, an east iwan, a west iwan, 11 rooms, a private bathhouse and two Ab-Anbars (water reservoirs).
The house is currently the location of the Arak Personalities Museum and displays busts featuring religious, political and prominent Iranian figures as well as documents, published works and photos belonging to these personalities.
Khakbaz Mansion was registered as a National Heritage Site in 2001.
