Located in the Zagros Mountain range, Chelgard Ski Resort is one of the oldest in the country. With an altitude of 4,221 meters above sea level and an 800-meter vertical drop, Chelgard Ski Resort enjoys heavy snow during the fall and winter. The ski season at this resorts starts in November and continues until March. The resort has a ski school, accommodation for visitors as well as restaurants where skiers can dine after a day on the slopes.
