Lab-e Khandaq, which translates to ‘near the moat’ in the Persian language, is an old mosque in Dezful which based on the date of a gravestone dates back to 1763. The current building of the mosque has strong Qajar era (1785-1925) elements and was renovated in 1904. The mosque has a vast Shabistan (inner sanctum) and courtyard, minarets, a dome and tilework decorations.
