Lisar Protected Area is a bird watching destination located 50 kilometers south of Astara. Lisar is home to birds such as lesser spotted eagle, European honey buzzard, partridge and the Caspian snowcock. Lisar is also the habitat of animal like red deer, roe deer, bear, leopard, wildcat, caracal, wild goat, mouflon, wolf and fox.
